Kyron Murphy Game Report: vs French Camp Academy

Kyron Murphy turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with one or fewer walks. This season, he has been strong no matter where he plays. On the mound, he has an ERA of 3.77 over 61.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat he has slashed 0.434/0.484/0.575 with 46 runs, plus 16 stolen bases.

Murphy's strong effort led Sacred Heart over French Camp Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
