Basketball Recap: St. Anthony Takes a Loss

The matchup between St. Anthony and Juda on Saturday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The St. Anthony Roman Legion took a blow against the Juda Panthers, falling 68-39. The Roman Legion just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, St. Anthony saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Damian Reyes posted 11 points and three steals.

St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Juda, with the victory, they broke their 26-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-1.

St. Anthony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-60 defeat against Tenor on the 10th. Juda has also already played their next matchup, a 52-23 loss against Albany on the 10th.
