Baseball Recap: Crockett County Comes Up Short

Crockett County lost against South Gibson last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 7-6.

Crockett County has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for South Gibson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 25-7.

Looking ahead, Crockett County will square off against Gibson County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight. South Gibson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
