Volleyball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Medicine Lodge Indians. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Jaylee Schilling paced Cimarron's offense, picking up five kills. Schilling got some help from Emery May and her five assists. Taegan Eskam controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Medicine Lodge can attribute much of their success to Emery Shinliver, who had 13 digs and two assists.

Cimarron's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Medicine Lodge, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-1.

Cimarron has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fellowship Baptist Academy on the 4th. As for Medicine Lodge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Southwestern Heights on the 4th.
