Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Sheets Memorial Christian, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Patriots put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 22-2 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Patriots have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ben Pickard and Kore Wallace were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Pickard pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Wallace tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. At the plate, Pickard got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI, while Wallace got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs Pickard has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Owen Russ, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Russ has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Devane, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .689. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive matchups.

The win got Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Sheets Memorial Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
