Baseball Recap: Hopkinsville Wins Going Away Against Fort Campbell

Hopkinsville won the last time they faced Fort Campbell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers blew past the Falcons 11-0. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Gavin Mitchell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles. Those doubles were his first of the season.
