Baseball Recap: Evart Comes Up Short

Evart fell victim to Beal City and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Aggies. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Aggies: they've now lost five in a row.

Evart saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Evart's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Beal City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

While Evart had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
