St. John Bosco had won six straight games and Koa Malau'ulu did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Braves took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-0 win over the Orange Lutheran Lancers with plenty of help from Malau'ulu, who threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

St. John Bosco's defense made their presence known, laying out Ezrah Brown three times. Josiah Poyer refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Jailen Hill got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

St. John Bosco's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Orange Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Bosco will square off against Santa Margarita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Braves 8.9, the Eagles 12.6) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Orange Lutheran, they will take on JSerra Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
