Volleyball Game Preview: Oakmont Vikings vs. Nevada Union Miners + How To Watch

Oakmont hasn't had much luck against Nevada Union recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Miners at 6:00 p.m.

Oakmont came up short against Bear River on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Nevada Union made easy work of Yuba City on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Honkers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Nevada Union was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-22.

Nevada Union's win came from a few key players Oakmont will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Val Ramirez, who had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Nevada Union's record now sits at 22-17. As for Oakmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
