Herriman and Copper Hills are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will square off against the Grizzlies at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Herriman is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Herriman came up short against Riverton and fell 13-8.

Boston Jacobson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those doubles were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ryker Renteria, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Copper Hills came up short against Mountain Ridge on Friday, falling 10-4. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gage Lintz was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Herriman's record now sits at 8-11. As for Copper Hills, their record is now 3-16.

Herriman skirted past Copper Hills 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
