Football Recap: Jaden Duckett's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sprayberry over Lee County + How To Watch

Sprayberry and Lee County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Sprayberry had to settle for second. They fell 34-21 to the Trojans. It was the first time this season that the Yellow Jackets let down their fans at home.

Sprayberry's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Duckett, who rushed for 70 yards and a pair of TDs. Another back making a difference was Jrue Keeling, who rushed for 64 yards and one score on only six carries.

Jordan Bush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lee County, rushing for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also picking up 50 receiving yards. What's more, Bush posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September. Lee County also got a significant boost from Dominique Ball, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 112 yards.

Sprayberry suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 9-2. As for Lee County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Sprayberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee County, they have already played their next game, a 49-31 defeat against Langston Hughes on the 21st.
