Softball Recap: Vermilion Catholic Comes Up Short

Vermilion Catholic lost against Northside Christian back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Vermilion Catholic lost 14-4 to Northside Christian. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vermilion Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Northside Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vermilion Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Highland Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Highland Baptist Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.45 runs per game on average), something Vermilion Catholic will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northside Christian, they will take on LaGrange at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
