Baseball Recap: New Site Royals vs. Falkner Eagles
New Site proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by seven) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Falkner Eagles 4-3. While the Royals didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Jayden Greene made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
