Soccer Game Preview: Terry Sanford vs. Harnett Central

The Terry Sanford Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Harnett Central Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Terry Sanford will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Terry Sanford is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Lumberton get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Taylor Stangle as she scored three goals for her team.

Despite a strong season so far, Harnett Central has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against Pine Forest on Friday, falling 6-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Harnett Central couldn't quite close it out.

Terry Sanford pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. As for Harnett Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Terry Sanford might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Harnett Central when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Terry Sanford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
