Volleyball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Knightdale Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Southeast Raleigh was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Knightdale's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-9, 25-20.

Southeast Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Knightdale, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-16 record.

Looking ahead, Southeast Raleigh will take on South Garner at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Knightdale, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Franklinton on the 7th.
