Baseball Recap: Jumpertown Comes Up Short

Jumpertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Biggersville Lions, falling 12-2. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Jumpertown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Biggersville, they moved to 2-12 with that victory, which also ended their 12-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Jumpertown Cardinals duke it out with Byers Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Biggersville, they will take on Thrasher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
