Lincoln got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dillon Jones out in front who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Cole Arnold was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds.
Sioux City West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lincoln, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Sioux City West will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Sioux City West likes a good challenge. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to take on Sergeant Bluff-Luton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Lincoln is ranked 17th).
