Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Avonworth). They breezed past the McGuffey Highlanders to the tune of 49-0 on Friday. The win was just business as usual for the Antelopes, who after eight games remain undefeated this season.

Avonworth was led to victory by Dimitri Velisaris and Carson Bellinger. Velisaris rushed for 96 yards and two TDs on only eight carries, while Bellinger threw for 116 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Bellinger a new career-high in passer rating (166.7). Logan Krul was in the mix too, providing Avonworth with one score.

Avonworth's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for McGuffey, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
