Soccer Game Preview: Aubrey vs. Gainesville + How To Watch

The Aubrey Chaparrals will head out on the road to take on the Gainesville Leopards at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Friday just wasn't the day for Aubrey's offense. They lost 4-0 to Panther Creek on Friday. While losing is never fun, Aubrey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 649th, while Panther Creek are ranked 164th).

Meanwhile, Gainesville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak last Thursday. They and Panther Creek finished up their contest with a 4-4 draw.

With that draw, Gainesville's record moves to 6-0-2. As for Aubrey, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Aubrey couldn't quite get it done against Gainesville in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Chaparrals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
