Baseball Recap: Wade Hampton Comes Up Short

Wade Hampton suffered their biggest defeat since March 26th on Thursday. They lost 7-1 to the Boiling Springs Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the sixth time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-1 defeat on Tuesday.

Wade Hampton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Stepp, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Wade Hampton has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for Boiling Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Wade Hampton nor Boiling Springs have any future games scheduled.
