Bolsa Grande had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Magnolia on Friday. The Matadors put the hurt on the Sentinels with a sharp 19-13 win. The Matadors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 26-15).

Bolsa Grande's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-11. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Magnolia, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolsa Grande will square off against Century at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Magnolia, they will take on Saddleback at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
