Football Recap: Liberty Magnet Comes Up Short

Liberty Magnet lost against Salmen back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the Patriots and the Spartans didn't end well, with the Patriots falling 38-22. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Liberty Magnet still got an impressive performance from Zaiden Foster, who rushed for 184 yards and one TD while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Foster is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 114 every time he's taken the field this season.

Liberty Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Salmen, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Liberty Magnet is taking a road trip to take on Bogalusa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Lumberjacks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Salmen, they will host Lakeshore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeshore's defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so Salmen's offense will have their work cut out for them.
