Softball Recap: Lindblom Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Monday. Lindblom came up short against Brooks, falling 14-4. Lindblom was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brooks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Samaria Crowder made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Lindblom and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Brooks, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lindblom will take on rival Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Brooks is set to square off against their familiar foe Kelly at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
