That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Sara Schwarz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2024. Lena Lucarelli was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Ellwood City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .742. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Hopewell hit Quaker Valley with a four-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Quakers lost 10-2 to the Vikings.
Ellwood City's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Quaker Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
