The Providence Catholic Celtics are taking a road trip to take on the Montini Catholic Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Providence Catholic is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Providence Catholic came up short against Chicago Mt. Carmel and fell 68-57.

Meanwhile, it looked like the Kentucky Derby when Montini Catholic took on St. Rita on Tuesday. Montini Catholic walked away with a 45-35 win over St. Rita. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Providence Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Montini Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Providence Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Montini Catholic in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 48-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Providence Catholic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
