Seventy-First extended their losing streak to seven on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-12 in the process. They came up short against the Jack Britt Buccaneers, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in March.

As for Jack Britt, their win bumped their record up to 12-9. Considering they have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Looking ahead, Seventy-First will face off against Douglas Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Jack Britt, they will challenge South View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Buccaneers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
