Volleyball Recap: Roxana Takes a Loss

Roxana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Gibault Catholic Hawks. The Shells were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14.

Gibault Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was AUBRY THOMAS out in front who had ten digs.

Roxana's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Gibault Catholic, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Roxana will welcome Freeburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gibault Catholic, they will head out to face off against East St. Louis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
