West Campus came tearing into Wednesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Foothill Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While West Campus won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 26-24.

Their offense was headlined by Ke'Ala Ayin and Cam Tudor, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Chloe Chan and her 14 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

West Campus' victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Foothill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

West Campus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Monterey Trail on the 9th. As for Foothill, they will be taking part in a tournament against Rio Linda at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
