Recap: Tahquitz Titans vs. Citrus Hill Hawks
The Tahquitz Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Citrus Hill by a score of 59-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Citrus Hill to victory were Jerren White and Roland Thibodeaux. White dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Thibodeaux scored 27 points along with nine rebounds. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alaric "AJ" Hayes, who scored 16 points.
Tahquitz now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Citrus Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-12.
Tahquitz will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Perris at 5:30 p.m. Perris is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Citrus Hill will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against West Valley at 5:15 p.m. on January 11th.
