Baseball Recap: 11 Straight Home Wins for Sidwell Friends

Sidwell Friends faced Maret in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Quakers blew past the Frogs 14-4. Considering the Quakers have won five matches by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sidwell Friends' win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Maret, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
