Soccer Recap: Plainview Comes Up Short

Plainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 616th, while the Pirates are ranked 116th).

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Lubbock-Cooper, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Plainview will face off against Palo Duro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they will challenge Coronado at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
