Union City entered their tilt with Hudson Catholic on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Hawks. The result was nothing new for the Soaring Eagles, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Union City got a great performance from Miguel Fillion as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Jayden Perez was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Steven Roque, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
