Baseball Recap: Framingham Comes Up Short

Framingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wellesley Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 back in April.

Framingham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Wellesley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Framingham will square off against Brookline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellesley, they will challenge Natick at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
