The Tumwater Thunderbirds had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their game on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 72-21 win over Rochester. With Tumwater ahead 36-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Tumwater's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryce Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Clay Morgan, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
