Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shadow Ridge). They put the hurt on the Apollo Hawks with a sharp 34-1 win on Monday. The Stallions have beaten the Hawks the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hawks has come to flipping the script.

Alexis Hughes looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.
