Lynn Vo-Tech came out on top against Nashoba Valley Tech on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Tigers took their game against the Vikings 6-2. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Vikings back in April, they had to take a 14-8 loss.

Lynn Vo-Tech has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Nashoba Valley Tech, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Lynn Vo-Tech will head out on the road to take on Minuteman Regional at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Minuteman's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Nashoba Valley Tech, they will head out to face off against Notre Dame Cristo Rey at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
