Basketball Recap: Curtis Comes Up Short

Curtis lost to Bonney Lake back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Panthers are ranked 85th).

Curtis dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Bonney Lake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Curtis is taking a road trip to take on Spanaway Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bonney Lake, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Emerald Ridge at 7:00 p.m.
