Volleyball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

The Bedford Kicking Mules came up short against the Roscommon Bucks on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Lucy Monahan paced Bedford's offense, picking up five kills. Monahan got some help from Olivia Eby and her ten assists.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Roscommon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 25 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 40-2 record this season.

Bedford will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Roscommon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Saline on the 11th.
