Carson Rasmussen Dazzles in Timpview Win
Starting off the list is Timpview's Carson Rasmussen, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rasmussen rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes.
The win was the fourth in a row for Timpview, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Rasmussen and Timpview will head out to challenge Orem at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Sadly, Zachary Olsen posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Springville over Orem on Thursday. Olsen rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He is becoming a predictor of Springville's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 4-2 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Springville's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4. Olsen and Springville will challenge Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Iongi Came Up Big in Orem's 38-37 Win
Feleti Iongi's big game helped extend Orem's winning streak to three on Thursday. Iongi was dynamite, picking up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Springville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Iongi. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Iongi saw the Red Devils), he picked up 89 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 33 yards.
