Braddock has gone a perfect 5-0 against South Miami recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Braddock Bulldogs will welcome the South Miami Cobras at 3:30 p.m. Braddock is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Last Friday, Braddock made easy work of Coral Park and carried off a 7-1 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won three games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Alvaro Perez looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Miguel Reyes was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Marcelo Torres was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and two RBI.

Braddock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for South Miami's offense. They came up short against Sunset on Monday, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cobras were not able to get on the board.

Braddock pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1.

Braddock skirted past South Miami 6-4 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Will Braddock repeat their success, or does South Miami have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
