Recap: Beamer Titans vs. Highline Pirates
The Beamer Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Highline 92-60 at home. Winning may never get old, but Beamer sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Beamer's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Berry, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The match was Berry's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Terrence Whiting was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Beamer's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Highline, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Beamer will be playing at home against Auburn Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Auburn Riverside is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Highline, they will head out on the road to face off against Kent-Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
