Mead is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Omaha Christian Academy as Mead made off with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Overton sidestepped Amherst for a 3-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Overton was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (110-105), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 14-25, 24-26, 25-22, 15-12.
Mead's victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-25. As for Overton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.
