Recap: Pipestem Christian Academy Panthers vs. Lewisburg Baptist Academy Lions

Pipestem Christian Academy took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewisburg Baptist Academy on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pipestem Christian Academy in their matchups with Lewisburg Baptist Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Pipestem Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Silas Mattox, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Mattox is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Weiss, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Pipestem Christian Academy were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewisburg Baptist Academy only posted an assist.
It was another big night for Austin Beane, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds for Lewisburg Baptist Academy. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Holliday, who scored nine points along with three steals.
