Volleyball Recap: North Posey Vikings vs. Princeton Tigers

North Posey had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. Everything went their way against the Princeton Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

While North Posey might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Princeton scored at least 16 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9, 25-16.

Leading North Posey to victory were Mallory Luigs and Addie Murphy. Luigs had 24 digs and two aces, while Murphy had eight digs and five aces. That's the most aces Murphy has posted since back in August.

North Posey has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Princeton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Posey and Heritage Hills are set to duel on Saturday. As for Princeton, they will stay at home for another game and welcome South Knox at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
