Volleyball Recap: Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Victorious

After losing to Albemarle School the last time they met, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Griffins came out on top against the Colts by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-9, 25-16, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Albemarle School saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaylee Noble had eight digs and four aces.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Albemarle School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech will face off against Eastern Christian HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trailblazers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Griffins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Albemarle School, they will head out on the road to face off against Lawrence Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
