Preview: Windsor Forest Knights vs. Tattnall County Warriors
Windsor Forest is 0-3 against Tattnall County since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Windsor Forest Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Tattnall County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Windsor Forest is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Windsor Forest beat Toombs County 46-40.
Trinity Myers was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. Grace Ellington was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Tattnall County suffered their biggest loss since December 2, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a rough 56-34 loss at the hands of Swainsboro. While losing is never fun, Tattnall County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Swainsboro is ranked 87th).
Windsor Forest's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Tattnall County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
Windsor Forest took a serious blow against Tattnall County in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 75-37. Can Windsor Forest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
