Volleyball Recap: Cedaredge Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Cedaredge and Coal Ridge, and Coal Ridge kept the tradition alive. The Bruins lost 3-0 to the Titans on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bruins have suffered against the Titans since October 13, 2018.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.

Coal Ridge was led to victory by Chloe Coon and Shayla Huck. Coon had 11 digs and two aces, while Huck had 13 digs. That's the most aces Coon has posted since back in October of 2024.

Cedaredge's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Coal Ridge, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Cedaredge will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Basalt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coal Ridge, they will challenge Delta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
