Football Game Preview: Wayne Pioneers vs. Tug Valley Panthers

The Wayne Pioneers will face off against the Tug Valley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Wayne is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lincoln County 46-0. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Tug Valley against River View on Friday as the squad secured a 48-6 victory. The game marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Wayne better keep an eye on Bryson Elia. He was instrumental in Tug Valley's win, rushing for 148 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picking up 39 receiving yards. Preston May was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one score.

Tug Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wayne, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
