Soccer Game Preview: Siegel vs. Blackman

The Siegel Stars will take on the Blackman Blaze at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Siegel is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

If Siegel beats Blackman with three goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Stars walked away with a 3-1 victory over Riverdale on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Siegel have won by exactly two goals.

Cohen Meredith and Grant Johnson scored all three of Siegel's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, neither Blackman nor Shelbyville Central could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Blackman's record moves to 6-5-3. As for Siegel, the win got them back to even at 7-7-3.

Siegel was able to grind out a solid victory over Blackman in their previous meeting last Thursday, winning 3-1. Do the Stars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blaze turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
