Recap: Wray Eagles vs. Holyoke Dragons

The Wray Eagles won the last time they faced the Holyoke Dragons, and things went their way on Friday too. Wray walked away with a 49-41 victory over the Dragons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wray.

Wray's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Tena led the charge by scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tena has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rafael Trejo, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.

Despite the loss, Holyoke still got an impressive performance from Chase Johnson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.

Wray is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Holyoke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Wray and the Yuma will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Y is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games. As for Holyoke, they will head out on the road to face off against the Plainsmen at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
